Our Mission

The image of Redefined Physiotherapy

The current healthcare system and clinical management need an upgrade based on our own personal experiences and observation. We decided we’re not going to wait either, because we’ve been waiting to help in a different way.

While traditional rehab is the standard physical therapy approach which is treating injuries in a reactive manner, we found limitation in treating some of the typical cases too. Therefore, we’ve been dedicated to set up RE:defined Physiotherapy with the aim to redefining the path to managing pain and recovering from injuries by manipulating and re-balancing the musculoskeletal framework.

We want your bone, joint, muscle, nervous system, connective tissue and organ to be taken care of, because we believe in the concept that they are all interconnected and capable of affecting the entire body mechanically through inducing symptoms like pain.

Meet Our Team

One of the Professional Physiotherapists - Teo Hui Xin
Teo Hui Xin Hui Xin is one of the physiothepists, she seized an opportunity to pursue her Physiotherapy Degree at Manipal University in India. Through a senior’s referral, she landed a role at a sports clinic, where she treats various musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on scoliosis in young individuals. Certified in International Schroth 3D Scoliosis Therapy, she deepens her expertise in this area. Outside work, she enjoys hiking and running, finding solace in nature for both exercise and reflection.
One of the Professional Physiotherapists - Soon Wei
Soon Wei Soon Wei is one of experienced physiotherapists, he earned his Physiotherapy Degree from Mahsa University. His competitive karate career ended with a back injury, prompting him to explore Chinese medicine in his practice. Certified in orthopedic acupuncture and spinal manual therapy, he focuses on rehabilitating athletes. Outside work, he enjoys dining out and stays fit with regular gym sessions.
One of the Professional Physiotherapists - Mei Sim
Mei Sim Mei Sim is one of the professional physiotherapist, she completed her Physiotherapy Degree at University Tunku Abdul Rahman in Sungai Long. She joined a sports clinic in Kuala Lumpur, specializing in rehabilitating post-operative patients, including athletes with dry needling, manual therapy and also visceral manipulation. Balancing her career and motherhood, she enjoys spending time with her children and indulging in tea.
CEO - Mr. EE
Ee Yen Chen Ee graduated with honours in Marketing from UNITEN and have since been in sales, marketing and branding for multiple listed companies for almost 20 years. He is instrumental in many new market expansion and partnership building in the real estate sector. An avid sports and training enthusiast, he has had his fare share of injuries and rehab. The interest in setting up RE:defined Physiotherapy came about after overcoming niggling injuries through the help of Soon Wei, Hui Xin and Mei Sim. He is encouraged to spread the importance of physiotherapy through his own experience and is a strong believer that it is best to mitigate before it irritates.
